Mom and I incorporated a bit of charity into our August, 2011 trip to Cozumel. We learned from Tati, our photographer guide, that she is involved in a project to collect and distribute Christmas gifts to the poorest children in Cozumel. So prior to departing the United States, mom and I purchased small toys (kites, puzzles, coloring books and crayons, jump ropes, matchbox cars, etc...) that we could donate to the effort. Tati promised to send pictures and video of the gifts being distributed, and when mom and I left Cozumel a few days after handing Tati several bags of presents, we returned home and counted the days until they would be delivered to the kids. Please watch and enjoy the video of that magical Christmas. Is there something you can do to make a difference?
